		<description>Hi, I did the exact same thing with the horizontal stab., elevator on my 83 c model, complete with the one inch gap. I covered mine with the fisher dacron, worked out really well. Shimmed it 3/4 inch off the keel for the elevator leading edge, fabricated new struts. Much more positive control response, I&#039;m sure it would even be better with a gap seal, some day I&#039;ll get ambitious and try it, but for now all is well. Andy 602-319-5470</description>

You&#039;re making great headway. Reference your question about licensing the plane. If you keep it under 254# and only have the single seat, you got 103 covered. With the second seat, you have to go ELSP, but you missed the registration deadline of Jan. &#039;08. You&#039;re only other recourse that I know of would be te EBELSP. It is experimental built LSP. But, there are certain conditions that have to be met to go that route. Check the EAA website and I think you find some good info in that regard.
