About me
Hi, my name is Neil Jansen, and this is my website. I started a weblog to share my projects online. I’ve been working on one or more electronic/mechanical projects for as long as I can remember. A few of these have made it to popular websites, and even a few magazines. Currently I’m building an Ultralight airplane, converting milling machine to CNC, and designing a robotic surface-mount pick-and-place system.

- Favorite TV shows: I don’t watch TV
- Music: I pretty much boycott anything the RIAA touches. The only mainstream bands I still listed to, I consider “grandfathered in” since I already owned their CDs: Sublime, DJ Shadow, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Rage Against the Machine. There are a ton of places to get great music from without lining the RIAA’s pockets, for example PodSafe Music and SomaFM’s Groove Salad.
